Hi everyone and thank you for joining me today . I am excited to share with you a technique new to me ! I had so much fun with it I couldn't stop finding different stamp sets to try out .
Here are my samples and the first one I an sharing was my last card I created but I have to tell you it is my favourite ! I just love it ! The technique was shared by fellow demonstrator Melissa Kerwan  and I love that Melissa shared this with us all , thank you Melissa . Briefly the technique requires swiping a black archival ink pad down the front of your card front and card base . You need to adhere your piece  to a piece of scrap paper so that it will not slip, because  you will want  straight line , not a wavy one ! do this either end. Allow to dry and stamp your images of choice , dry , then swipe a versa mark pad down the front and cover with clear embossing powder , heat set and you're done ! as you can see I tried it out on every different  foil choice I could lay my hands on ! I also used Copper foil for another sample but I am saving that one for the ESAD blog hop on the 25 th February .
If you live in Kerang or the surrounding areas and would like to join me for a class using this technique contact me or book into my class on line, this class will be held on April 19 th and 21 st .

I have decided to run another little competition , i am so sorry last time it didn't work so well ! I have changed my settings so hopefully this time we will have more success ! Leave me a comment and i will enter you into the draw to win the stamp set Amazing You ! I will draw the winner next Friday at 7.30 pm ! Good luck everyone ! Please note this competition is only open to Australian residents and demonstrators are not eligible to enter .

Hello everyone and thank you for joining me today . My February class is all about love which just happens to be the theme for the Global Stamping Friends  blog hop .This card and matching box set ( box also contains 3 matching cards) could be used as a Valentines gift or , by changing the greetings , for a birthday , anniversary or just because card .
There are a variety os sentiments to choose from  which work with the banner framelit .Check the photo and you'll see you could use ' you warm my heart " from the Sheltering Tree set ; " a little expression of love " comes from Painters Palette ; my world is brighter and more beautiful because of you comes from Paisleys and Posies , From The Heart from Petal Palette ( used on my sample ) and I'm sure you can think of many more !
I have used the new Painted With Love specialty DSP , this paper is quite thick so was perfect for my little box - created using the Lots To Love framelit dies . I have used the heart from the set to die cut a window in my box front and have adhered a piece of window sheet to the inside . You could also use our Fabulous Foil designer acetate. I used this on some sweet boxes I created for little Christmas gifts last month .. The card set uses the new Whisper White Note Cards and envelopes page 19 of the Occasions Catalogue . I kept the sweet cards very simple ! Tip , mask off the balloon  with washi tape when stamping the panda holding the hearts and then remove the tape before stamping  ! Your hearts are then easier to position !
Giving a huge shout out to Carol Read for sharing this card here which I cased and which inspired me to design the elements of this class ! Thanks so much Carol !

I hope you enjoyed my share today ! Here are some more adorable little boxes I created for Christmas but sadly the DSP I used is retired ! I filled them with M & M s and Jaffas !

Now it's time to take a look at the lovely projects Jan  Mussleman has created for us !
